This coffee is grown by 18 women who own small farms near the town of Quom in Huehuetenango, high in Guatemala's western mountains at 1,500–1,800 meters. It comes through HER Coffee, a program that connects women producers directly with roasters in the U.S. Women do much of the work behind every harvest, and this program makes sure they get the recognition and market access that go with it. Every full bag of HER Coffee sold also funds a cervical cancer screening kit for women in coffee-growing communities through Grounds for Health.
